Draught proofing for businesses

Draught proofing for businesses

The Darebin Energy Upgrades Program offers competitive pricing and warranties for draught proofing products.

Raven and DraftStoppa

Draught proofing is available as an add-on when ceiling or underfloor insulation is installed at your business on the same day. There is no minimum job cost for these add-on items for any Darebin business.

Darebin draught proofing pricing table

Type Brand (model) Darebin base price
Door seal: perimeter and bottom of door  Raven (RP78 & RP3)  $220 per door for a minimum of two doors, or $266 for one door only
Exhaust fan cover  Draftstoppa  $33 per cover for a minimum of two fans, or $55 for one fan only
LED lights to replace halogens $42 per light

All prices in the table include GST. Products are supplied and installed by Enviroflex.

These products will be installed on the same day as your insulation. Other draught proofing items are available on request and can be quoted separately – for example caulking for wall and gap filling, heating vent close kits, and chimney draught stoppers.

* Darebin base price: Door seals, exhaust fan covers, and wall vent fill products have Victorian Energy Upgrades discounts applied when a minimum number of products are installed. The final price will be provided in a no obligation quote based on your specific circumstances and the particular draught proofing works to be carried out.

Please note: Commercial grade draught proofing is not possible.

Warranties

Perimeter and bottom of door seals have a 3-year warranty; Exhaust fan covers have a 5-year warranty. Warranties do not apply to other draught proofing products.

Safety notes

If your business has unflued or open-flued gas heaters you need to maintain adequate ventilation to operate them safely. You should not seal any fixed vents that are required for gas ventilation. Enviroflex staff can visit your business and determine which draught proofing works suit your circumstances.

Ventilation should be controlled, such as by using extractor fans or opening windows when cooking, showering or drying clothes inside. This helps reduce indoor humidity and the risk of condensation and mould.
